Movers and other pests

The main problem about contacting movers is that they never let go. Most movers know that when you contact them for the first time you are going to compare their terms with other movers. Therefore after you have said thanks very much we'll think about your offer, they'll get back to you. Movers are persistent and will attempt to negotiate until you succumb. But you know and they know it's fierce competition. Naturally we are talking about movers in the slow periods when there's not much work around, unlike the summer vacation when it's the peak period for movers to work in the field of relocation. Therefore the big question is how do you get movers off your back and prevent them from nagging non-stop. Obviously the best way to deal with movers in such a situation is simply to say, sorry folks, we appreciate your offer, but we have already made our decision with another company. True it's a real harsh reaction but business is business and there is simply no room for having pity on
movers. They are a tough lot and are used to this kind of a situation where customers have to come to a final selection.
